Vision
The Vision for the International Trends and Services Facet of the Hampton Chapter of the Links, Inc. is too Implement national initiatives, signature programs and national programs Implements national initiatives, signature programs and national programs.
Mission
The mission of the International Trends and Services facet is to expand the global platform for programs designed and developed to service the educational, health and cultural needs of people of African descent throughout the world. All programmatic components of the facet are delivered through measurable and sustainable service delivery methods that reach women and their families.
Goal
The foremost goal of the International Trends and Services facet is to provide opportunities for tangible service in other countries. Our "boots on the ground" approach provides for more personalized methods for assisting and improving the lives of women, children and men worldwide through long-term programs committed to empowerment and public policy leadership in advocating for social justice. These programs include: Education Across the Miles, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Program Initiatives [Model United Nations], Links International Foreign Affairs and Business Empowerment for Youth (LIFE) Program, and Linking with Haiti - Women’s Survival Kits, Safe Motherhood Initiative: Maternal Waiting Home.

Objectives
- Provide “Survival Kits” to Haitian women and girls to promote self-esteem, dignity and uplift their lives (ITS Facet)
- Provide support to the annual City of Hampton International Children’s Festival showcasing cultural heritage and educational exhibits to enhance Virginia’s Standards of Learning (ITS Facet)
- Provide training and information regarding foreign service career opportunities for Young Achievers to expose them to new views of the world in which we live (ITS umbrella)
- Conduct activities that align with strategic priorities and provide identification of “Survival Kits” to receiving Haitian NGO representatives with Hampton Chapter of the Links, Inc. logo (ITS Facet)
- Design press releases to inform Hampton Roads communities regarding Haiti Project and to advance the Links brand.
- Seek feedback for improvement of the Haiti “Survival Kit” Project, the International Children’s Festival and the press release.
